How It Works

Before attending in-person sessions, students complete 9 self-paced online modules covering all theory and knowledge required for the NHA CPT exam.

Modules are accessible 24/7 and must be completed with an 80% or higher quiz score before attending in-person training.

Topics covered: anatomy and physiology, infection control and safety, venipuncture technique, patient communication, specimen handling, legal and ethical standards, and NHA exam preparation.

After completing all online modules, students attend three full days of hands-on training in person under direct instructor supervision.

During these sessions, students will practice venipuncture on training arms, progress to supervised live draws, and complete their final competency evaluation.

Completion Requirement: To complete the program, each student must perform a minimum of 30 venipunctures and 10 capillary sticks on live individuals — all documented and signed off by the instructor.
